Way to go Macys Store in San Francisco.......love it....bol

November has arrived with a few local traditions and fun events in store! We thought we would share these upcoming events with you as they are great opportunities to give back to the local community as well as celebrate the rich history of San Francisco. SPCA Holiday Windows Unveiling ~ November 16, 2012 Location: Macy’s Union Square, Corner of Stockton and O’Farrell Streets When: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM FREE EVENT Join {Macy’s} and the {San Francisco SPCA} as former Mayor Willie Brown unveils holiday windows featuring adoptable kittens and puppies. A 26-year old tradition expressing the magic and spirit of the holiday season, the animals featured in the window will be available for adoption at the SF SPCA Adoption Center on Macy’s Level 1 through January 1st. Market Street Holiday Lighting Ceremony ~ November 20, 2012 Location: Cable Car Turnaround When: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM FREE EVENT The San Francisco Ballet’s “snowflake” dancers from The Nutcracker will be at the Market Street Holiday Lighting ceremony. The “Path of Gold” lights along Market Street were originally installed in 1916. Bring the family or just your sweetheart to bundle up, sip cocoa and watch the streets begin to twinkle. Boomtown Exhibit ~ November 16, 2012 – January 13, 2013 Location: Conservatory of Flowers When: Tue-Sun 10AM – 4:30PM Price: $7; $5 youth 12-17, seniors and students with ID; $2 children 5-11; Children 4 and under FREE; free the first Tue of every month Get ready to explore the {Conservatory of Flowers} as you’ve never seen it before with an all new garden railway display celebrating San Francisco’s gold rush Boomtown days and its infamous Barbary Coast neighborhood. The Guardsmen Holiday Tree Lot ~ November 24 – December 16, Location: Festival Pavilion/Fort Mason Center When: Daily from 9AM – 9PM Don’t miss the {Guardsmen’s Annual Christmas Tree Lot} a hallmark of San Francisco’s holiday season for more than 60 years. The Festival Pavilion at Fort Mason Center is transformed into a winter wonderland with trees, ornaments, wreaths and jumpies for the children. Tree delivery also available. All proceeds benefit SF Bay Area programs for at-risk youth. Bazaar Bizarre Holiday Show ~ December 1 – 2, 2012 Location: Herbst Pavilion/Fort Mason When: 11AM – 6PM Price: Free Find the perfect, unique gift for everyone on your list at the {Bazaar Bizarre} featuring over 100 carefully selected artists and designers from across the country.
